GOALS

Meet the Coaches

I’m a high graduate of Breaux Bridge High School. I hold degrees from Southern University (2010,2013). The game of basketball bring me life and teaches me about life, hardwork, discipline and accountability. I am part of a great group guys with Books Over Basketball. I am also part of a Amateur Basketball team (Future Legends) which started back in 2011. My gift to my community is to bring back the student-athlete when I was labeled. No just noticeable on the court, but excellence in the classroom. My motto has always been, “Books First, Ball Second – Great in Both.”

I’m a lifelong New Iberia native and 1998 graduate of New Iberia Senior High. I hold degrees from SLCC (2002), UL Lafayette (2005), and a Master’s in Criminal Justice (2010). My journey through sports has taken me from SAAU Final Fours to coaching future pros like Early Doucet and Glen “Big Baby” Davis. While I’ve competed at high levels, my greatest reward is helping young men become college grads and leaders. I now serve with the Positive Behavior Center in St. Martin Parish, using sports and education to uplift youth.
